Fair's a Going!

The El Dorado County Fair starts TODAY!!! Go enjoy Paws in Placerville from June 12-15 at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds. See you there:)

Rubber Duck Races

Cost is $2 per duck, additional races with the same duck $1
Daily prizes. Heat winners come back for finals on Sunday for a chance for the Grand Prize - a two nights at the Horizon Hotel & Casino in South Lake Tahoe

Plein Air Painting
Sponsored in part by the Thomas Kinkade FoundationWhat is Plein Air Painting you ask? Plein Air translates to “open air.” This term is used to describe paintings that have been created outdoors, rather than in the studio. Photo references are not used. So come to the Fair and capture the fun and excitement of fair time on your canvas!

El Dorado County Fair Idol
All contestants shall perform at a preliminary competition being held on the Main Stage on June 12 beginning at 4:30 pm. Ten finalists shall be chosen to perform at the final competition on June 15 at 8:30 pm. on the Main Lawn Stage. The winner shall be sponsored by the El Dorado County Fair to participate in the regional competition, date & location TBD.
Pre-registration by Thursday, June 12 is required.Thursday, June 12 beginning at 4:30 pm.

Limited to 36 Busters. 18 slots will be reserved for El Dorado County residents.
